President Tebboune extends condolences to King of Spain following tragic train collision in Toledo

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune sent a message of condolence on Wednesday to King Felipe VI of Spain, expressing his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy following the tragic collision of two trains in Toledo, and conveying his full solidarity and compassion to the King and the friendly Spanish people.

The message of condolence said: "Your Majesty, in these painful and difficult circumstances, as your friendly nation experiences the tragedy of two trains colliding in Toledo, resulting in heavy losses of victims and injured,

I express to Your Majesty and to the friendly Spanish people, on behalf of Algeria, its people and government, and on my own behalf, our deepest sorrow, sincere empathy, and heartfelt solidarity as you face the painful impact of this tragic accident."

The President of the Republic continued: "As I extend my deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to you, to the families of the victims, and to the friendly Spanish people.

I affirm my absolute solidarity and sincere empathy with Your Majesty, the government, and the Spanish people in this severe trial, confident that your esteemed government is capable of mitigating its effects, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery."     

He added: "Please accept, Your Majesty, the assurances of my highest consideration and respect."
