President of the Republic chairs Council of Ministers meeting

The President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is chairing a Council of Ministers meeting on Sunday September 20, 2026 to review the basic law for the Civil Protection personnel and their compensation system, the digital connection between the State bodies and institutions, as well as the results of the 2026 harvest and threshing campaign, the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.

"The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, is chairing today a Council of Ministers meeting addressing the review of the basic law for the Civil Protection personnel and their compensation system, as well as reinforcing the corps with the structures and material and human means necessary to carry out their missions, the digital connection between the State bodies and institutions, in addition to the results of the 2026 harvest and threshing campaign," said the source.
