Celebration of the 64th Anniversary of Algeria's Independence

The Algerian Embassy in Abuja commemorated, today, the 64th anniversary of Algeria's independence under the theme: 'Independence: A Trust for the Generations.' The ceremony featured the raising of the national flag, the observance of a minute of silence in memory of our righteous martyrs, and the recitation of  Surat Al-Fatihah from the Holy Quran. On this occasion, the Ambassador of Algeria to Abuja delivered a speech highlighting the profound significance of this historic day, which crowned the sacrifices made by the Algerian people across various historical eras. He also emphasized the immense responsibility resting upon the shoulders of the post-independence generations to safeguard the legacy of the martyrs.
