ANNOUNCEMENT

The Embassy of Algeria in Nigeria wishes to inform members of the national community residing within the consular district of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of National Education, will launch an educational initiative from July 6 to August 13, 2026. This initiative involves opening educational classes for children of the national community residing abroad, organized as summer educational camps to coincide with their stay in the homeland for the summer holidays.
This initiative aims to enable this segment of the community to take Arabic language courses in accordance with the national curricula, and to strengthen their knowledge of the components of national identity across its historical, cultural, and spiritual dimensions. The training will be organized in three educational sessions, each lasting two weeks, with a duration of two hours per session, according to the following schedule:
- 1st session: from July 06 to July 17, 2026;
- 2nd session: from July 19 to July 30, 2026;
- 3rd session: from August 02 to August 13, 2026.
As a pilot phase, this initiative will cover 14 wilayas (provinces), namely: Chlef, Béjaïa, Biskra, Tlemcen, Tiaret, Algiers, Jijel, Sétif, Skikda, Annaba, El Bayadh, El Oued, Khenchela, and Aïn Témouchent. The training sessions will take place at the administrative capitals (chefs-lieux) of these wilayas.

Registration for the applicants will be processed on a "first-come, first-served" basis, subject to the capacity limits set for each class.
