Fall of bus in Oued El Harrach in Algiers: President Tebboune extends condolences

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, offered his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of Friday 15 August 2025 accident in Algiers, when a passenger bus skidded off a bridge and plunged into Oued El Harrach.

“With profound sorrow, I pay tribute to the memory of our fellow citizens who died in this tragic accident, following the fall of a bus into Oued El Harrach. In this moment of grief that has touched us all, I extend my sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the bereaved families, praying that Almighty Allah may bestow His mercy upon the departed, grant them a place in His vast paradise and provide patience and solace to their loved ones,” the President of the Republic wrote in his condolence message.

He also wished “a speedy recovery to the injured, Inshallah. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
